How CPU & Memory Works

The CPU and Memory Units of a PC generally work with the integration of the following four mechanisms.

Initially every PC does have two types of Storage blocks like Permanent and Temporary Storage areas. Permanent refers to the Secondary storage and Temporary refers to the RAM of the CPU. Secondly, the memory Units like Widepath memory, Cache Memory, Memory interleaving focuses on the Memory Enhancements of the PC. Third factor would be the Multi Processing that focuses on Multi Core Processors, Multi Processor Systems, their configurations and finally the advantages of building a Multi Processing Systems. The fourth factor or the fourth mechanism would be the CPU features or the Enhancements that help CPU process better. It includes Scalar and Super Scalar Processing, Modeling the CPU using Pipelines, parallel execution units and finally the execution cycle or the execution time for a given task.
